  • Label Boxes

    • List contents or label boxes with what room they go in. Note on all four sides. Number the boxes and seal with tape.
  • Mattresses

    • Purchase a mattress cover to protect your mattress during storage. Stand mattresses on their sides to save space. Remember to prop them up so they stand straight. Otherwise, they tend to bend out of shape and become lumpy.
  • Packing Boxes

    • Try to use uniformly sized boxes for easy stacking. Pack each box fully or stuff with newspaper or packing peanuts to avoid smashed corners during storage. Stack heavier boxes on the bottom and lighter boxes on top.

The office staff does not keep copies of the tenant's keys. Be sure to securely lock your unit before leaving the facility. Slide the latch hasp on your door all the way to the right so that both lock openings are lined up before securing with your lock.
